Is a Master Data Management (MDM) program really a crusade? A c rusade is defined as a vigorous, aggressive movement for the defense or adv ancement of an idea or cause. Similarly, an MDM program is a vigorous, aggressive movement waged against poor quality data and improperly used da ta in the face of tight delivery deadlines, budget reductions, and corporat e politics. An MDM crusade requires a systematic course of offensive a nd defensive moves to win these battles and hold previously gained ground.& nbsp;This tutorial will share the experiences of a director-level manager w ho led multiple MDM programs in organizations across diverse industries.&nb sp;Case studies will be presented that span phases from building the initia l business case, through product selection, implementation, and several yea rs of production.
