In this case study, f ollow Seacoast’s success story as the Data Governance and Data Qualit y program was quickly stood up so that the Bank could begin to measure and monitor data quality.
\nDuring the Bank’s 90+ year’s hist ory, the organization did not have a formal data governance program. W ith numerous bank acquisitions over the last several years the time was rig ht to gain the benefits that Data Governance and Data Quality would bring t o the organization. With an emphasis on speed to delivery and to implement a scalable and comprehensive solution, the bank developed a Data Quality Fr amework that laid the foundation for measuring and monitoring data quality. With the framework in hand, the team rolled out a series of deliverables t hat increased not only the visibility of data quality issues, but helped to ensure a high level of quality of data for use in the banks very successfu l data analytics programs. Along the way, the bank leveraged its innovative use of data virtualization to help logically centralize sources of data.\n
